Springing into Action - Thanks a Bunch

P3/4 have been braving the cold weather with Mrs Bunch to begin preparing our garden for Spring. They have worked hard at clearing the planters in readiness for sowing chard. We hope to be spending more of our time in the garden as the weather improves and have lots of jobs planned to ensure it looks its best for the sunny weather. (well we can dream can't we?)

We were lucky enough to be invited to Trinity Academy to participate in a two week dance tutorial led by senior pupils. They took us through an entire dance routine based around the Michael Jackson classic 'Thriller' . We practised each section again and again and the pupils' were great teachers. We even got to improvise some of the dance steps ourselves. We had really good fun and hope to present it to the school at Assembly. Look at our short video clip.

Sculpture workshop - Hands Up

P5/6 have been getting arty again This time using plaster to create hand casts. The results are fantastic - take a look and see for yourself.

Hoots Mon! It's Scots' Night A Scots celebration through music, dancing and poetry. Look at our pupils and parents enjoying listening to the spoken word. The pupils throughout the school have been learning a Scots' poem along with traditional Scottish country dances. The event was a big success with everyone joining in and having a lot of fun. Here's a taster of what went on...

Christmas at Victoria This is a selection of our photographs from our Christmas celebrations. Tree lighting, parties, carol singing, rehearsals and a visit from a certain gentleman... Can you spot your child?

Health Week Medley Here's a peek at how the body works, some Brazilian martial arts, smoothie making and the P1s enjoying a healthy breakfast courtesy of the Primary sevens.

Taste the Rainbow!

The Primary 1's had a super time during Health fortnight - here they are creating their Taste the Rainbow preformance for the school assembly. They created a song about all of their favourite fruits (after a fruit tasting and smoothie making session) made amazing hat decorations and even added their own soundtrack to it! They were the stand out hit of our Health week celebration assembly.
